Cookie and analytics disclosure
This explains the browser storage used by SCNT.LOL.
Sign-in storage
Supabase session cookies, named with the sb- project prefix, keep you signed in and refresh your session. Google sign-in uses Google's own account and consent flow. Sign out to clear your local SCNT.LOL session. Blocking these cookies prevents authenticated features from working.
Abuse prevention
When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks sign-in attempts to reduce automated abuse. Its widget receives browser and network information needed for the security check. SCNT.LOL verifies its short-lived token on the server and does not send your email or sign-in code to this check.
Profile visits
The scnt_vid cookie contains a random signed identifier used to count daily aggregate profile visits. It does not contain your name or an IP address. The service derives daily hashes and does not reveal named visitors. You can clear it using browser controls; the service may issue another identifier when you visit again.
Performance and errors
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure aggregate traffic and performance. Sentry records diagnostics when configured; session replay is not enabled by SCNT.LOL. These tools are not used for advertising. Provider processing and retention are governed by their services and the privacy policy. Any additional optional tracking requiring consent must receive an appropriate control before activation.
